Pastor Ranodore Marvell Foggs is the Pastor of the New Horizon Community Church.

He attained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Vocational Education, Training and Development at Southern Illinois University and a Master’s Degree in Management at Webster University in Missouri. He has also completed some courses in the Master of Divinity Program at the Covenant Theological Seminary in Missouri.

Pastor Foggs was licensed and ordained under his father in the ministry, Dr. John H. Rouse, Former Pastor of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, East St. Louis, Illinois.

Since then, He has enjoyed 19 continuous years of Pastoral experience, with the latter 10 years as the Pastor of the New Horizon Community Church. 

He is a prolific preacher, dynamic teacher, and servant of God.  He is an encourager of the body of Christ, to live not only the best life, but the blessed life.

 

He currently serves as the Public Safety Director of McKendree University. He also serves as the Violence Prevention Coordinator of the New Salem Baptist District Association, Inc.  Pastor Foggs is also a former Captain with the Illinois State Police, a former trainer for the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E) Program and has extensive experience with youth and inner-city programs.

In his spare time, Pastor Foggs loves hunting, fishing and playing basketball.  He currently resides in Fairview Heights, Illinois with his wife Eva of 25 years, his daughter, Schallon, and son Tylar.
